|Originally from Smooth Rock Falls, Ontario, Amanda Lamarche moved to Gibsons, BC, when she was eleven. She received her BA in English from the University of Victoria before heading to UBC to study for her MFA in Creative Writing. Her work has appeared in Grain, The Malahat Review, Room of One’s Own, The Antigonish Review, Prairie Fire and Breathing Fire 2: Canada's New Poets.
