Born in 1933 in the small community of Penny, BC, Jack Boudreau has devoted his professional life to British Columbia's forest industry, working as a licensed scaler, industrial first-aid attendant and forest firefighter, mostly with the Ministry of Forests. From early childhood he has had a strong interest in the outside world, pursuing mountain-climbing, fishing, skiing and the research of grizzly bears and wildflowers.
