Halifax Daily News Review
While Nova Scotians yearn for daffodils and tiny spikes of green grass, adventurers in British Columbia are planning their weekends around summer skiing over crisp glaciers, canoeing icy rivers and snow-boarding through fine powder.

This book by commercial photographer John Bartosik doubles as a tourism guide to one of the most spectacular outdoor-sport regions of the country. We see glorious color photos of the Arnold Palmer - designed Chateau Whistler golf course alongside a two page spread of an unearthly landscape in which a winter storm has frozen the trees and sky in spooky tableau.

We see close-ups of butterflies a doe and her fawn; and best of all - those amazinly mountains.

So, if you're planning a trip out that way, this is the book for you.
