On November 7, 2005, Rafe Mair was inaugurated into the Canadian Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame, which recognizes Canadians in private broadcasting or related industries who have achieved outstanding success in helping raise industry standards from a material or humanitarian standpoint.
Rafe Mair has been a credible voice in the arena of Canadian broadcasting and print journalism for a quarter of a century. He has published six books including Rafe: A Memoir and his most current book of essays Hard Talk . He appears three times a week on OMNI TV and writes for The Tyee and the Metro Valley Newspaper group. He lives in Lions Bay, BC.
