Jim Taylor Visits Chilliwack

October 9, 2008

Don't miss the opportunity to meet Jim Taylor at a book signing for his new memoir, “Hello, Sweetheart? Gimmie Rewrite!”: My Life in the Wonderful World of Sports. Taylor will be appearing at Sports & Stuff's Football Day at the Chilliwack Mall, 45610 Luckakuck Way, on Saturday, October 11 from 1-3pm.

Taylor’s memoir looks back at the fifty years he spent in the newsroom and the press box. It also relives some of the memorable sporting moments that highlight his career. Taylor was there when Paul Henderson scored “The Goal” in Moscow in ’72, he drank beer from the Stanley Cup, followed Rick Hansen’s wheelchair around the world, and lived awhile with the Gretzky’s. From the “room at the top of the stairs,” Jim Taylor writes a funny and frank memoir about life in the press box. For more information about the book signing, call Sports & Stuff at (604) 858-2614.
