Jim Taylor Shares his Memoir with the BC Interior This Month
Monday, November 17, 2008
Cheeky sports columnist Jim Taylor will venture into the BC Interior this fall, making stops in Kamloops and Kelowna. In between doing interviews with the local television and radio shows, Jim will be visiting bookstores to meet his fans and sign copies of his new book, “Hello, Sweetheart? Gimmie Rewrite!”: My Life in the Wonderful World of Sports.
Don’t miss these chances to reminisce about some of the greatest moments in sports history with one of Canada’s most notable sports journalists:
· Thursday, November 20 at 4:00pm: Bookland, 750 Fortune Drive, Kamloops
· Saturday, November 22 at 1:00pm: Mosaic Books, 411 Bernard Avenue, Kelowna
Taylor relives some of his greatest memories, such as drinking beer from the Stanley Cup, seeing Paul Henderson score "The Goal" in Moscow in 1972, following Rick Hansen's wheelchair around the world and even living a while with the Gretzkys. From the “room at the top of the stairs,” Jim Taylor writes a very funny and frank memoir about life in the press box.
