2009 Poetry in Transit Selection

October 2, 2009

Congratulations to the talented poets who will be displayed as part of the 2009 Poetry in Transit selections. Our featured poems are Nightwood poet Elizabeth Bachinsky's "86" from God of Missed Connections; Caitlin poet Kate Braid's "Burlesca" from A Well-Mannered Storm; and Harbour poet David Zieroth's "I Cannot Read All the Purple Books" from The Fly in Autumn.

Poetry in Transit is a partnership between TransLink and BC Transit, and the ABPBC tp produce sixteen poetry cards annually featuring the work of BC-authored and Canadian-published poets. The cards are displayed on buses and SkyTrains throughout the transit systems in BC.
