The Boreal Gourmet: Adventures in Northern Cooking, by Whitehorse cook and author Michele Genest, is attracting a lot of attention from Canadian media this week. Michele did  an an interview on CBC TV Yukon  Monday, May 31. Vancouver-based Joseph Planta of thecommentary.ca interviewed Michele about her new cookbook for his podcast Planta: On The Line. CBC's North by Northwest Cooking Club  with host Sheryl Mackay will feature Michele at Barbara Jo's Books to Cooks on West 2nd in Vancouver Thursday, June 3 at 4 pm.
