Congratulations to this year's Poetry in Transit Poets

Nightwood Editions and Caitlin Press congratulate their 2010 Poetry in Transit  poets! The project will be launched at  Vancouver's Word on the Street festival on September 26, 2010 and the poems will appear on buses in the Lower Mainland immediately and in Skytrains in October. Joe Denham's poem "South of Black Point, Southeast Wind Screaming" (Windstorm), and Laisha Rosnau's poem "He was the Number 14" (Lousy Explorers) were selected from Nightwood Editions. Caitlin Press poets Fiona Tinwei Lam ("Water Park", from Enter the Chrysanthemum) and Kuldip Gill ("Mill Yard Sounds", from Valley Sutra) were also chosen to be two of the sixteen poets in this year's program.
