We at Harbour Publishing wanted to tip our hats to one of BC's most dedicated book reviewers. Edgar Dunning, at the age of 100, passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2010. Edgar was a remarkable man—a historian, raconteur, musician, vibrant community member, book-lover and journalist. Over the years he held the position of reporter, editor and publisher of the Delta Optimist, but most recently he wrote a weekly column, "Ramblings," where he talked about community events in Delta and enthusiastically reviewed hundreds of books from BC writers and publishers. Our sincere condolences go out to his family—Edgar will be deeply missed by his many fans and friends in the publishing industry and in his community.
