Spring Readings with Elizabeth Bachinsky in Vancouver, Kingston, and Montreal!

Nightwood poet Elizabeth Bachinksy is the new Writer in Residence at the University of the Fraser Valley this Spring! And she'll be giving readings in the following locations:


  • UBC Creative Writing program's New Year Locution at Pulpfiction Books (2422 Main Street, Vancouver) at 7pm on January 13. She will be joined by student readers from the program.
  • Emily Carr University's On Edge Reading Series in the South Building, Room 406, at 7pm, January 20. Elizabeth will be featured in conversation with Jaqueline Turner.


  • Thrive Reading Series in Kingston (the Grad Club, 162 Barrie St. at Union) at 8pm, Tuesday, February 8
  • Queen's University's English Department in Kingston (Watson Hall, Room 517, Bader Lane, Queen's Campus) from 11:30am to 1pm, February 9


  • The Atwater Poetry Project in Montreal at the Atwater Library (1200 Atwater Ave) at 7pm, Thursday, February 10. Featuring Elizabeth Bachinsky and George Sipos.
