Christian McPherson Shortlisted for a 2011 ReLit Award

Congratulations to Nightwood Editions author Christian McPherson, who has been shortlisted for a 2011 ReLit Award, in the Novel Category, for his book, The Cube People. The ReLit Awards are given to outstanding authors from Canadian independant literary presses.

The Cube People is a hilarious book that throws the reader into government cubicle culture. It has recieved praise across the country. Shane Neilson, from The Fiddlehead writes:  “What’s really distinctive about the book is just how funny it is". He goes on to say that "McPherson has many ways to make the reader laugh, from the more energetic and obvious to the more sophisticated”.
