Art of the Impossible Launches in Vancouver

Vancouver city councillor Geoff Meggs and journalist Rod Mickleburgh have been busy promoting their book, The Art of the Impossible: Dave Barrett and the NDP in Power 1972-1975, which will be launched this week. They have already received ink in the Vancouver Sun, Globe and Mail and Georgia Straight, and have been featured on CBC's On the Coast, CKNW's Bill Good Show and News 1130. Stay tuned for their appearance on Global BC's Weekend Noon News show on Saturday, November 17.
Join Meggs and Mickleburgh for the launch at the Djavad Mowafaghian World Art Centre, Room 2555 at the Goldcorp Centre for the Arts, on Thursday, November 15, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
The Goldcorp Centre for the Arts is located at 149 West Hastings Street. The event is open to the public and admission is free. Book sales and a cash bar will be available. This event is made possible with the support of SFU’s Vancity Office of Community Engagement.
