Tim Bowling Reads in BC

Posted: Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 1:04am

Tim Bowling kick-started a notable career when he published his first poetry collection, Low Water Slack, with Nightwood Editions in December 1995. Now, eighteen years later, he has published ten collections of poetry, two books of non-fiction, four novels, and has won both national and international awards for his work.

Bowling celebrates twenty years of writing with his latest collection, Selected Poems, which gathers together his finest poems. He returns to his home province of British Columbia to launch his book at the Ladner Pioneer Library on Thursday, July 11 at 7:00pm and also appears at the Gibsons Public Art Gallery, at a reading hosted by the Gibsons Live Poets Society, on Thursday, July 18 at 7:00pm.

Tim is joined by his partner and fellow author Theresa Shea, who will be reading from her debut novel, The Unfinished Child (Brindle & Glass).
